Read about this wonderful Round Robin Quilt and how it came about. It started out in Arizona in September 2008, traveled to Maine. Next it went to Pennsylvania and on to Florida heading back up the east coast to Maryland . Finally it returned to Arizona this April 2009.

Round Robin has come home

Last summer a group of quilters got together at Lyndon Sate college, in Vermont for a week of quilting. This group has been getting together for the last 15 or more years. The last four years we have been doing a round robin quilt as a way of keeping in touch over the winter months. Each quilter does a center block and passes it on to the next person in the group. Each quilter adding their own touch. Early spring the quilts find their way back to the original quilt maker.

My quilt center was diamonds this year. Each of the other four group members added something to the quilt and now it is back home with me to finish. Isn't it a beauty?

Busy, Busy, Busy

I have been working on several projects the past few months and have again neglected the blog. Some of the projects are complete. Others are on going. There are a few dolls finished for a doll exchange with Doll Street Dreamers, the online doll club. They are called Dotee. They are only about 4"- 6" tall. Each contains some beading and a "tail" with a charm. It will be fun to see what I receive in return when the exchange takes place.
